Michael is an adventurist. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Contemporary Poetry(with a minor in Classical Flute), he journeyed forth. Gravedigger; cab driver; deep-sea fisherman; migrant farm hand; cowboy; steelworker; butcher-baker-candlestick maker; Mikie-baby is all that.

Presently working as an engineer out of Washington, D.C., he runs high-speed passenger trains for AMTRAK. "Just a hobbie", he jokes with a wink and a smile. There is one constant in his life-Songwriting! This last recording (song #87) is truely a reflection of the genuine intensity that is Michael Griffin.
